E-Kan is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. He has over ten years of experience tutoring in all levels of high school math, ranging from Algebra to AP Calc, and most levels of Physics and Biology. He believes all students are capable of achieving their potential with proper guidance and hard work. His goal for his students is not only that they gain a better understanding of the concepts and improve their performance but also that they come away with a greater sense of appreciation for math and science.

Eric is a professional writer originally from Barcelona, Spain. He has been teaching Spanish in the US for over 8 years. He was raised bilingual, which gives him a unique perspective on language learning that he uses today as a teacher. After earning his BA at the University of Barcelona, Eric moved to San Francisco to write advertising copy. While there, he began tutoring Spanish at all levels: Spanish 1 through 5, AP Spanish, business Spanish, and conversational Spanish for adults. He also helps with reading comprehension and written reports. Eric is a very patient, clear communicator who knows how to make lessons fun and engaging.

Gilli is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, where she majored in Anthropology, earning departmental honors for her senior thesis. Gilli has tutored hundreds of students of all ages and learning abilities. She loves working with students in all levels of French, from beginners to AP as well as SAT French Subject Test students. Gilli also teaches history, English, writing, and standardized test prep. Her ISEE and SAT students have an excellent record of score improvement and have been accepted to some of the most competitive private schools in Los Angeles, elite boarding schools, and prestigious colleges nationwide.

Karen earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California Berkeley with a double major in Native American Studies and Comparative Literature. Karen subsequently earned a Master's degree at UCLA in American Indian Studies and a PhD in English. She began her full-time teaching career in the English Department at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where she taught courses ranging from literary theory to women's studies. Upon returning to California, Karen taught literature, humanities, and composition in both middle school and high school. More recently, Karen went to law school and earned a JD. Now a practicing attorney, Karen is excited to continue her long-standing tenure with Rhodes Educational Consulting, where she has the opportunity to help students develop their writing and critical thinking skills.

Ross is an experienced educator whose specialty is working with teenagers. With high achievers, Ross challenges them to learn deeply and thoroughly. With students who have motivational/organizational problems, Ross has concrete tools to improve grades and performance. He has a long track record of working with struggling students to help build better study skills and work habits. Ross holds an MFA in creative writing and was a Spanish major who spent time studying in Latin America. He brings his creativity and love of learning to each session. He understands that each student learns differently and that there are many paths and approaches to academic success. Ross is available to tutor in all levels of English and history, with a specialty in writing and literature. He also tutors Spanish, with a particular strength in reading comprehension.
